About The Owner

Skincare and the beauty industry has always been a constant in Sam’s life. Being born and raised in California, she wanted to spread her wings after college and working a few years in the TV industry, decided to make a fresh start by moving up the coast to Seattle to become an Esthetician and enrolled herself into Gary Manuel Aveda Institute.

After graduating Sam went to work at a premier Downtown Seattle Spa, that offered the most advanced Skincare and Body Treatments in the city. She loved all of the treatments on the menu but her expertise was in Sugaring, and her favorite service was the Brazilian. Brazilians as we all know are not a fan favorite, but her goal was to make this unpleasant experience comfortable, positive, quick, and as painless as possible.

Years later, she was offered a position in New York City at a Luxury European Boutique Spa in Downtown Manhattan where she not only practiced Body Treatments, Facials and Sugaring but managed a team of estheticians as well. Sam really enjoyed the small intimate environment of the spa and the diversity that was New York City.

However, missing the West Coast, Sam found her way back to California and is thrilled to call Palm Springs home! With years of experience and a passion for the beauty industry, she decided to pursue her dream and open up Bare Sugar Studio!

Samantha has been certified in Sugaring, is a teacher trainer for Sugaring, A Face Yoga Teacher, Facial Reflexology Certified, Gua Sha Certified, and 200 YT Yoga Teacher.

Sam is dedicated to learning, teaching, and making everyone who steps into Bare Sugar Studio feel welcomed and appreciated and to leave feeling respected, taken care of, and of course FABULOUS!
